SPAMMERS---Gotta hate 'em
Well, if you just look at the fake return address, it looks like the Can You Hear Me Now network is working on being the Can You Read Me Now network.

However, careful geek investigation of the email's header fields reveals the sham. 95 % of these emails originate from China or some other Asian nation.

SPAM! Love the meat, hate the mail...

Confidential to the man from the Motor City state...Miss you too baby. I need to take a road trip up north don't I...

By way of explanation... After we completed the file server migration from hell, we segued into the email server migration from hell. Coming up we have the accounting department software change from hell followed closely by the company-wide merchandise sales and distribution software change from hell. Sigh. I don't even want to look at a computer after I leave "the office." And that's just the work front...

Personally, I spent four solid weeks taking my dog to the Vet twice a week for shots of something that was supposed to make her hip dysplasia better. Not only is she not better, but on one of the trips she injured herself so badly jumping into the truck that she is now lame...on her good leg! One of the two legged members of the household (not me) has been experiencing some accelerated heart activity and severely limited lung capacity the cause of which has yet to be determined since doctors in Kansas move at the same pace as the rest of the Kansas workforce---glacial.

On a happier note, Spring is here and when I'm not at animal doctors or people doctors, I have had the supreme pleasure of working in the garden, most of the results of which can be seen here. I've planted, weeded, mulched, built new planters, taken great joy in seeing mama cardinal stick with a nest this year that has three eggs and I'm looking forward to documenting baby cardinals in photographs. Life still holds many blessing and I am for the most part a very happy, lucky woman. I wish there were more hours in the day so that I could share it all with you 'cause I miss you too.

People Different From Us~~~
Former major league baseball all-star Darren Daulton, 44, told the Philadelphia Daily News in February that in retirement, he understands dimensions of reality that few of his fellow Earthlings know. He first experienced his extraordinary power after delivering a game-winning hit in the 1990s and breaking into tears after the game, discovering that "I didn't hit that ball. Something happened, but it wasn't me." Later, Daulton said, he was "awakened" to realms beyond those covered by the five senses. Things will become clearer on Dec. 12, 2012, at 11:11 a.m. Greenwich Mean Time, he said, because that's when the world will end. [San Jose Mercury News-Knight-Ridder, 2-16-06]

See, I don't see anything but red x's no matter where I go on fotopages, but these cats are just so cool, I gotta try and post 'em.

And if they don't show up, you can always look at this hotlinked* image of what I found at TAIT tonight when I tried to visit...

Where am I Wednesday?

Gone but not forgotten...
Where am I Wednesday?
Gone but not forgotten...
Hey Dotted One! Nice legs...

But seriously, I came here to post on March 15, 2006 10:24 pm CST and what I got was the first picture. Never seen that one before. I've gotten the ol' 404 error; I've gotten the Server Not Found error; hell, I've even gotten the never ending hourglass with the completion bar that jumps back and forth, never to arrive at full page load. But never, ever have I seen the site simply disappear. I thought we done put 'em outta business. Glad to see I was wrong.

So, I'll post a picture of where I've been. And in an encomium to that venerated puzzler, What is it Wednesday, I'll ask you all Where am I Wednesday?
