This mural is on the side of the former grocer's building in Saint George. Saint George is even smaller than Wamego, if that is at all possible. Main street is only one block long (as opposed to the four blocks that comprise Wamego).

My poor clump river birch. Even if the branches that didn't break were to spring back up, we will still have to chop it down to prevent a future recurrence.

Here are some samples of the quantity of snow that fell. Locals tell me we don't normally get this much snow in one storm, much less back-to-back storms so we still don't know what a normal winter is like in our new home...
