This has turned out to be the biggest single snowstorm since we moved to Kansas. It looks like we have about 8 or 9 inches, with drifts up to 12 inches deep.

Egads, she takes pictures of something other than animals????

Can you see the big fat flakes?
The color of the leaves just seemed to pop in this picture
First came the ice, then the snow
These pictures were taken Superbowl Sunday morning before the snow REALLY started piling up.

Snow Day!

Happy Dog!
This is our biggest single-storm snowfall since we moved to Kansas two years ago. The dogs mostly love to play in the snow. Maverick, the Border Collie loves it more than Dallas, the Labrador Retriever. Mav will stay out for hours where Dallas is done after maybe 20 minutes.

These are all the same photograph of Elmo and Struts with special effects applied to them. The camera is a Fuji FinePix 2650, the photo editing program is Microsoft Photo Editor (it came free with my computer).

Here are some pics of Dallas when she was just a wee little puppy. Hard to believe she was ever that small since she tips the scales at 70 pounds now...
