Elmo bathing his girlfriend Struts

You need a bath...
This is the big boy, Elmo, giving some tender, loving licks to his girlfriend, Struts. Elmo was the lone cat in a house of dogs. He and Dallas, the big dog, are still best friends and they wrestle around all the time. Struts was the feral cat that came with the house we bought in Kansas. The previous owners fed her outside and we continued the tradition. After she had her first litter of feral kittens, I trapped her and had her 'fixed.' She hasn't left the house since she came home from surgery.

Oy! If my esteem were better, I wouldn't retouch photos of myself.

These are all the animals [domestic] that share my life. I always had a rule. Never have more pets than you can pet at one time. Well, I guess rules were made to be broken.

The many berried weed

Kansas wild weed
I'm so confused. Someone told me this is poison ivy, someone else said it's not. All I know is that the stalks get as thick and red as rhubarb, the berries look scrumptiously edible and I've never seen any animal touch it. I think I'll follow their lead until I get the definitive answer to the question of what it is.
